Overeating is an excessive consumption of food with excess calories, exceeding the energy needs of a person.   • a busy schedule, in which food is perceived as a way of rest;
  •  improper diet, in which breakfast and lunch contain a small portion of the daily ration, and in the evening a person feels a strong hunger;
  • lack of habit to estimate the approximate calorie content of food and metabolic costs;
  • mental disorders, for example, a depression;
  • changes in the function of the hypothalamus and other regulatory centers of the nervous system.
