Diet with gastritis
Many people wonder: what kind of diet should be kept with gastritis? This is a very important question, since the healthy nutrition is the main part of the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases. With gastritis deseases you should always keep a sparing diet, and when you improve your health, you can return to normal eating habits only gradually. In some cases doctors prescribe a personal diet with gastritis.

Gastritis can be of two types: acute and chronic. Different people with these forms can have both high and low acidity of gastric juice. Acute gastritis can be of the following types:

  • fibrinous (it aggravates by infectious diseases);
  • catarrhal (it is accompanied by a violation of the integrity of the outer membrane of the stomach);
  •  phlegmonous (it causes purulent inflammatory processes on the gastric walls);
  •  corrosive (one of the side effects of poisoning).

Chronic disease, in turn, can be of the following forms:

  • superficial;
  • hypertrophic;
  • polypous;
  • bacterial;
  • granulomatous;
  • autoimmune.

Another form of chronic gastritis is typical of those people whose stomach walls damage is caused by the systematic alcohol consumption in large quantities.

Diet with gastritis - general recommendations

Diet with gastritis

Patients with gastritis should exclude from the menu spices used in cooking. To improve the taste of food is possible with fresh herbs (parsley, dill, celery). Herbs will help to add vitamins to the diet: try to season dishes that you eat with finely chopped herbs as much as possible.

It is necessary to eat in split portions, but at the same time to exclude snacks; so the stomach will not have difficulties digesting food. Carefully chew the food and eat slowly. The food eaten in haste can worsen the state of health and aggravate gastritis. Chew the food until it turns into an easily digestible gruel.

Do not forget that the healthy and rational nutrition is the key to the treatment of gastritis. Many patients who followed a strict diet during the treatment say that it helped them to overcome successfully all the symptoms and pain related to this disease within 4 weeks.
