Does Micrasim® help in cystic fibrosis

Cystic fibrosis is a chronic hereditary and, unfortunately, incurable at this time disease. It is characterized by a pronounced thickening of the secretion of all glands, a secondary lesion of the glands themselves and the development of infectious and inflammatory complications.

One of the most frequent forms of the disease is gastrointestinal, in which symptoms of chronic decompensated pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas) with enzyme deficiency predominate in the clinical picture. Therefore, with cystic fibrosis there must be used drugs that can partially make up the existing deficiency of pancreatic juice, significantly improve the digestion of food and reduce the severity of intestinal disorders.

Micrasim® is often prescribed with cystic fibrosis. The treatment scheme is selected by the doctor individually, the drug should be taken continuously, with each meal.
